Yes. Bull & Moose is free to download and genuinely usable for free — two players, 301 and 501, full scoring and checkout suggestions. There is no time limit and it is not crippled in any way. A one-time £4.99 Pro upgrade unlocks additional players, game modes, career stats, and removes ads.
A single one-time payment of £4.99. Not a subscription. You pay once and the Pro features are yours permanently, including after reinstalling the app. Pro unlocks up to 4 players, team play, 701 and 1001 starting scores, career stats and player profiles, match series, practice mode, and an ad-free experience everywhere.
Yes. Bull & Moose supports 2v2 team play where partners share a score, as well as individual round robin games with 2, 3, or 4 players. Team names are customisable and players can be randomly assigned to teams.
301, 501, 701, and 1001 starting scores. Single legs or match series — best of 3, 5, or 7, or first to a set number of legs. Rules are configurable — double in, double out, master out, or straight start and finish depending on your house rules.
When your remaining score drops to 170 or below, Bull & Moose shows you the best way to finish — for example T20 → T20 → D20 for 160. The relevant segments are highlighted on the board and the suggestion updates after every dart. This feature is available on both free and Pro tiers.
Yes, if you create a player profile. Profiles are saved locally on your device and track your three-dart average, best checkouts, games played, and games won over time. Stats are not stored on any server — everything stays on your phone.

Yes. The Settings screen has a board geometry slider that adjusts the size of all scoring zones — from realistic pub dartboard proportions all the way to significantly enlarged zones for easier tapping. The visual size of the segments changes along with the tap zones so what you see matches what you hit.
Please use the contact form on this site. Include what happened, what you expected to happen, and if possible what device and Android version you are using. We read every report and take them seriously.
